Why enter the Social Worker of the Year Awards?
The Social Worker of the Year Awards are about celebrating success. Whether that’s the success of an individual social worker, whole team or entire organisation, we believe the achievements of the social work profession should be recognised.
These awards also have an important role in educating and inspiring colleagues, friends, families and our communities about the exceptional role of social workers in our society.
The aims of the Social Worker of the Year Award are to:
- Give recognition to the challenging work of qualified social workers
- Promote best practice in the profession and celebrate success
- Improve understanding of the range of work which social workers undertake
- Celebrate and promote diversity and equal opportunities in social care
So please help us gain the recognition which great social work deserves.
